The Arvada Tennis Center was awarded the E.L. Griffey Award for 2009, from the Colorado Tennis Association as the Facility of the Year for its years of service working to promote tennis within the community and beyond. Historically, the Tennis Center, operated by APEX PRD, has consistently ranked among the top 5 facilities for league participation in the state, which is truly amazing considering it is a seasonal facility. The scope of our program is made possible by APEX’s Brent Anderson and his staff’s commitment to excellent tennis. No other agency in the Denver Metro area does what we do without having access to indoor courts. Bob Jones, Apex Ice Arena Supervisor, has been awarded the Ice Skating Institute Merit Award for demonstrating excellence in promoting ISI membership, programs and activities in 2009. This award is for supervising, training, and developing quality staff and operations for ice arenas.
